Moorside Polled Herefords sell the two top indexed cattle in Hereford Cattle Society UK Show & Sale this Tuesday 10th April. One male and one female. The good-uddered dams have just calved down again and can be inspected at home.

We had a great start to Tuesday at the Hereford Cattle Society UK Spring Show & Sale in the home of this major worldwide breed- we were awarded Female Championship with Moorside 1 Poppy. This feminine, balanced yet meaty heifer also provided the highest performance figures of any female in the sale. This 12 month old heifer sold for 3000 gns. to Mr Jordan of Northumberland, to whom we are very grateful. This heifer should make a great foundation cow for their new herd.

This bull is confirmed Homozygous Polled and is a "Superior Carcase Sire"- We did not sell this bull, but he will have his day as he is only a year old.
